About the Exhibition;
Diverse Visions: Thoughts of Five brings together five remarkable artists from across India — each expressing their unique perspectives, philosophies, and emotions through their art.
Curated under SANYAM, this exhibition celebrates individuality, creativity, and the rich tapestry of human thought woven through color, texture, and form.
From the warmth of tribal life to the silent endurance of women, from the vibrance of folk art to modern abstraction — every artwork here reflects a distinct voice and vision.
Participating Artists
Nishi Singh (Patna)
An artist deeply rooted in the traditions of Indian folk and contemporary expression, Nishi Singh is a graduate of the College of Arts & Crafts, Patna. Alongside her teaching and freelance career, she has created a body of work that bridges traditional folk motifs with modern sensibilities.
Her paintings celebrate femininity, divinity, and the lush connection between nature and the human spirit. Through intricate patterns and radiant colors, she weaves stories that exude warmth, joy, and strength.
Her exhibitions across Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Amritsar, and Jaipur, along with online international showcases, highlight her as a voice of vibrant creativity in modern Indian art.
Sunil Kumar (Jharkhand)
Celebrating Tribal Life Through Sculpture
Born in Chaibasa, in the heart of Jharkhand, Sunil Kumar brings the beauty of tribal culture to life through sculpture. A postgraduate in Sculpture, he has developed a signature minimalistic style inspired by community living, nature, and festivals.
His works — Mother and Child, Father and Child, Selfie, and Festival — are created in fiber, often shaped on the potter’s wheel, combining form and color to breathe spirit into simplicity.
Sunil’s art is a heartfelt tribute to unity, tradition, and the rhythms of rural life.
Rakesh Chaturvedi (Mumbai)
A distinguished artist born in Darbhanga, Bihar, in 1973, Rakesh Chaturvedi transforms his deep cultural roots into contemporary visual poetry. A Postgraduate from Patna Art College, he masterfully blends human psychology, geometry, and mythological symbolism through acrylic and mixed media.
Rakesh’s art explores the human condition — faces emerging through shapes and colors that echo ancient stories in modern language. Recipient of State and National Awards, he has exhibited alongside renowned Indian artists and continues to redefine abstraction through emotion and design.
Braj Bhushan Prasad (Mumbai)
BFA, Patna University
Born in Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand, in 1997, Braj Bhushan Prasad found his calling in the world of art at an early age. After completing his education in Fine Arts from Patna University, he moved to Mumbai, where he continues to live and immerse himself deeply in his creative practice.
For Braj, art is not something that is constructed through deliberate thought — it is something that happens in moments of connection between the artist and the medium. As he sits with his canvas, colors, or materials, a silent dialogue begins — waves of emotion arise, and the hands, brush, and tools start to move on their own. His process is like a dance of the mind and body, guided purely by feeling rather than form. To him, true art emerges not from perfection, but from the honesty of expression.
Guramarpreet Kaur (Punjab)
A self-taught, mixed-media artist, Guramarpreet Kaur’s art is an intimate reflection of endurance, transformation, and inner strength. Her acclaimed series “Path of Endurance” explores women’s emotional landscapes — their silence, resilience, and power to heal.
Her works often depict symbolic figures — wings, threads, and inner light — representing self-discovery and spiritual awakening. Through her art, she aspires to evoke empathy and inspire self-reflection, transforming pain into beauty.
Based in Punjab, Guramarpreet is also the founder of Punjab Art House|Guramar Art, dedicated to promoting original, soulful art across India.
